Reporting to the Head of Airport Planning, the Infrastructure and Commercial Planning Manager is responsible for the coordination and delivery of infrastructure plans and concepts across Adelaide and Parafield Airports that effectively deliver their Property and Airport vision.
Key to this is the provision of infrastructure advice to inform future commercial developments, business cases, lease agreements and approvals, working closely with AAL’s Property team, potential tenants and other stakeholders to effectively communicate these requirements and provide the necessary support to enable developments to proceed.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Leading the coordination and delivery of infrastructure plans including services and ground transport master planning and concepts.
- Project managing specified projects / strategic plans to achieve quality, program and budget outcomes, including management of external multidisciplinary consultants and internal/ external stakeholder engagement
- Contributing to the development and approval of the Airport and Infrastructure Master Plans and review of Development Applications against them (focused on proposed services and ground transport infrastructure)
- Consultation with local/state authorities/service providers, community engagement and coordination of internal/external approvals.
**Key requirements include**:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Planning, Engineering, Construction or equivalent
- Considerable demonstrable experience in Construction, Development and Planning, to include the development and implementation of strategic infrastructure planning
- Commercial acumen with a proven ability to plan and make decisions requiring multiple considerations (E,g Technical, Sustainability, capital and operating costs, maintenance, program, community etc)
- A cooperative, adaptable approach with excellent stakeholder management skills
