West Arnhem Regional Council covers an area of almost 50,000 km2 of stunning natural landscape in the western part of Arnhem Land, Northern Territory.

Council provides a range of local government services to five towns and communities across five wards with many popular tourist destinations.
The role
The Utilities Support Contract Operator (ESO) is responsible for ensuring the protected and continuous supply of power, water, and sewerage services to the community, as well as fulfilling Aerodrome Reporting Officer duties in accordance with all relevant contracts and procedures.
About you
- Proven experience and skills in operating and maintaining essential services such as power, water, and sewerage systems
- Experience using small plant and equipment, e.g., mower, bobcat, whipper snipper and chainsaw
- Experience with working with Power and Water and aerodrome reporting
