Public Relations Manager – Infosys, Sydney, NSW
Infosys is a global leader in next‑generation digital services and consulting. The role is an individual contributor that reports to the Global PR & Communications Head. The team is small, strategically important, and drives storytelling to create resonance across markets.
Responsibilities
* Conceptualize and execute strategic PR and communications plans that deliver on brand and business goals.
* Align with the vision and purpose of Infosys and drive narratives deep into the region.
* Manage end‑to‑end PR activities – strategic campaigns, press events & releases, research reports.
* Monitor brand landscape for potential issues and develop crisis communication plans, draft statements, and reputation management.
* Maintain and manage effective campaign budgets and agency relationships.
* Drive evaluation processes, execution, and KPIs on key campaigns.
* Coordinate the activities of PR agencies and ensure project deliverables are met.
* Keep up with media industry changes, identify strategic PR opportunities.
* Maintain excellent contacts with media in the region and grow the network.
Qualifications
* Degree‑level qualification in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, PR, or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in public relations, marketing, communications, or related fields.
* In‑depth understanding of the IT & Services industry with a media network.
* Excellent content development and presentation skills, with strong storytelling.
* Experience in business use of social media channels and data analytics, comfortable using MS Excel.
* Ability to manage and execute multiple campaigns simultaneously.
* Experience working with PR agencies and media is an advantage.
* Willingness to travel and work in a cross‑cultural/global environment.
