About the Role
The Human Resources Business Partner works as part of a team responsible for timely and accurate delivery of human resources services to Arcare Residences and employees across the employee lifecycle. You will create and manage positive professional relationships with Arcare Managers and the executive management team, providing leadership and operational expertise and guidance on all human resource management related matters, to support the HR strategy of Arcare. The Human Resources Business Partner will be required to travel to the various residences across Queensland when required.
Responsibilities
As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring Arcare complies with relevant IR, EBA, EEO, OH&S and training obligations
2. Assisting the National IR/ER Lead in day-to-day HR functions
3. Providing workforce planning and change management assistance and advice, both operationally and through special projects, i.e., Residence Commissioning and roster reviews
4. Facilitating education on ER matters and Arcare initiatives where required
5. Acting as the ‘key point of contact’ for managers and employees on Employee Relations matters and providing direct support to our people managers with conducting workplace investigations, performance management, disciplinary procedures, and terminations
6. Advising, guiding and coaching Residence Managers on all people related issues across the employee life cycle
7. Assisting with recruitment and onboarding where required
8. Being flexible in travelling to the various residences across Queensland when required
9. Other duties as required
Skills and Experience
10. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management (desirable)
11. Previous experience in a similar position and experience in the Aged Care industry would be viewed favourably
12. IR/ER knowledge and experience
13. Knowledge of employment law and related experience in areas such as equal opportunity and workplace safety
14. High level skills in stakeholder management and ability to develop good working relationships across all levels of the business
15. High level of confidentiality, compassion and integrity
16. Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
17. Strong attention to detail and experience with Performance Management, Recruitment and HR administration matters
18. Proficiency in the use of software relevant to the position, e.g. Microsoft office suite
19. Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willing to apply) and Statutory Declaration
20. Victorian Drivers Licence and own vehicle
