Job Title
As a Senior Child Safety Support Officer, you will work within a multidisciplinary team and provide high-quality, culturally appropriate child protection services to children, families, and carers.
The focus of this role is on identifying and supporting potential kin to become approved carers and connecting children in out-of-home care with their family and community networks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Effectively engage with children, families, carers, and service providers to support case plan goals.
2. Provide individualised supports to children and families subject to tertiary child protection intervention.
3. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to establish safety and support networks.
4. Provide casework support and advice to inform decisions about the safety and protective needs of children.
5. Participate as a team member to deliver family support services.
