Join a dynamic team of environmental professionals in our growing Ecology Department. As an Ecologist, you will be responsible for providing expert ecological advice on infrastructure and natural resource management projects.
You will conduct thorough desktop and field-based ecological surveys and impact assessments, focusing on terrestrial ecosystems, flora, fauna, biodiversity, and habitat. Your work will involve preparing high-quality technical reports, environmental analyses, and mapping outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct ecological research and fieldwork as required
* Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated environmental and ecology work packages
* Engage with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project success
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Ecology, Botany, Environmental Science, or a related field
* Strong identification skills in Queensland flora, fauna, and ecological communities
* At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in consulting, construction, or regulatory environments
