Job Description
This is a key opportunity for researchers with expertise in rural health education to drive meaningful change through impactful research and advocacy.
The successful candidate will be part of the La Trobe University's Rural Health School, leading high-quality research at the intersection of rural health education and policy.
* Conduct research to support rural health education development.
* Analyse data and policies to inform strategies aligned with the Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training program expectations.
* Lead or contribute to advocacy, evaluation, and policy submissions at local and national levels.
Key outcomes include strengthening the rural health workforce and influencing policy reform through evidence-based advocacy.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A PhD (or equivalent research experience) in rural health or a related discipline.
* Demonstrated experience in health research, policy analysis, and advocacy.
* Strong data analysis skills, particularly working with large datasets.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
* A commitment to supporting equitable rural health education.
