About the Role
As a Loader / Bogger Operator, your primary responsibility will be to safely operate a fleet of Underground Loaders for sub-level cave production and development loading activities via ore passes, crushers and / or trucks.
You will also assist with general maintenance tasks related to your equipment as well as performing acting duties of other roles when required.
Requirements
* Experience operating large underground load haul dump units (LHDU) in a large scale mining operation – preferably Sandvik LH517/621 or equivalent i-series model
* Previous experience operating the Sandvik Automine System will be highly favourable, but not essential
* A current manual driver's licence
* A strong commitment to consistent and safe production, utilising quality and best practice concepts;
* The ability to encourage a safe and efficient working environment;
* Previous experience in underground dump truck driving would be favourable, but not essential;
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and within a team; and
* The ability to support and mentor other team members.
