We're on the lookout for a sharp, strategic, and solutions-focused Senior Financial Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team in Broadbeach, QLD. In this pivotal role, you'll take the reins on end-of-month reporting, lead a small but mighty team, and keep our transactional entries and financial frameworks shipshape. What you'll be owning
* Lead and support a small finance team, championing collaboration and continuous improvement
* Accurately manage revenue invoicing, general journal entries, and intercompany transactions
* Ensure timely closing of monthly financial periods and deliver Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports
* Tackle reconciliations with finesse from fixed assets to intercompany loans
* Manage compliance matters including BAS lodgement, payroll, superannuation, and audit support
* Strengthen internal controls and contribute to process and system enhancements
* Build strong relationships with offshore teams, suppliers, auditors, and tax consultants
* Partner with stakeholders to ensure our financial engine runs like clockwork
What we're looking for
* CPA or CA qualified (highly desirable but not essential)
* Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
* 3+ years' experience in a similar finance role, or 5+ years' proven industry experience
* Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
* Advanced time management, autonomy, and attention to detail
* Solid working knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
* Confident working across reporting systems and able to roll with evolving tech
* Able to juggle deadlines, priorities, and still keep a cool head
