Offer description

* Australia's #1 Truck Brand for 37 years | Start up environment in a global business
* Hybrid work model (3 days in office) | Extra leave benefits | Free onsite parking
* Competitive financial package including additional super | Subsidised company lease vehicle

For 37 consecutive years, we've been Australia's leading truck brand, built on a foundation of reliability, innovation, and a workplace culture that consistently ranks among the best for employee engagement. Our leadership in the market is backed by decades of experience, a strong national network, and exceptional service support.

Our product range spans light to heavy duty trucks, featuring advanced engine technology and comprehensive safety systems. We proudly market, distribute, and support Isuzu Trucks and Isuzu Power Solutions across Australia.

Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) has announced the establishment of a new finance and leasing company, Isuzu Financial Services Australia (IFSA). With operations scheduled to commence in the third quarter of 2026, this is a new joint initiative between IAL and Tokyo Century Corporation (TCC). The establishment of IFSA forms part of the broader strategy focusing on strengthening existing operations and expanding its product and service offering.

This is a rare opportunity to play a early part in building and shaping a national captive finance business from inception: designing robust credit frameworks, setting portfolio guardrails, and balancing strong commercial growth with disciplined risk management.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior Credit Analyst to provide hands‐on commercial, SME and fleet credit expertise during IFSA's growth and build phase.

Reporting to the Head of Credit & Risk, you will focus on quality credit decisioning, portfolio risk management, and the design and governance of digitised and automated credit frameworks. You will play a critical role in ensuring IFSA achieves strong commercial outcomes while maintaining prudent risk discipline. You will also act as a key senior credit interface with our joint venture partner, Tokyo Century, ensuring alignment on risk appetite, delegated authorities, governance standards, and portfolio performance.

Commercial, SME & Fleet Credit Assessment:

* Assess and approve commercial, SME and fleet credit applications
* Analyse financial statements, cash flow, serviceability and transaction structures
* Provide clear, well‐documented credit recommendations, conditions and risk mitigants
* Deliver timely, consistent and commercially balanced credit decisions

Digitised & Automated Credit Decisioning:

* Design and govern digitised and automated credit decisioning frameworks
* Define automation rules, thresholds and escalation parameters
* Monitor model performance, overrides and alignment to risk appetite
* Contribute to continuous improvement of credit systems and workflow tools

Fleet Credit Limits & Portfolio Risk Management:

* Establish and manage fleet credit limits and concentration exposures
* Support portfolio monitoring, stress testing and risk reporting activities
* Identify emerging risks and recommend mitigation strategies
* Escalate material credit, model or portfolio risks in line with governance frameworks

Joint Venture & Stakeholder Engagement:

* Act as the senior credit interface with Tokyo Century
* Align on risk appetite, delegated authorities and portfolio performance metrics
* Prepare and present credit insights for JV and executive forums
* Engage effectively with Sales, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Product and Executive stakeholders.

About You

To be successful in this role, ideally you will have the following skills and experience:

* Demonstrated experience in digitised and automated lending environments, including setting credit rules, thresholds and escalation standards
* Experience in asset finance, leasing or commercial vehicle finance (highly desirable)
* Strong commercial credit judgement with the ability to assess complex SME, fleet and structured transactions pragmatically and defensibly
* Advanced financial analysis capability, including interpretation of financial statements, cash flow and serviceability metrics
* Strong portfolio risk management capability, including concentration risk and early‐warning indicators
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline (preferred).

If you are commercially sharp, risk disciplined and motivated by building frameworks that will underpin long term portfolio quality, this is an opportunity to shape something from the ground up.
