We're seeking an experienced Earthmoving Equipment Operator to support daily operations at our Ipswich landfill site. If you're confident behind the controls of a dozer, excavator, loader, or compactor and take pride in safe, efficient work, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
What You'll Be Doing
* Operate heavy machinery including dozers, excavators, compactors, and loaders
* Compact and cover waste materials in accordance with environmental standards
* Undertake earth works to provide material required to cover waste
* Maintain access roads, drainage systems, and general site infrastructure
* Conduct daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
* Follow strict safety and environmental procedures
* Assist with general site duties as required
What You'll Need
* Proven experience operating earthmoving equipment (landfill, civil, or construction)
* Strong safety awareness and reliability
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
Bonus Skills (Not Essential)
* Experience in landfill operations
* RII tickets
* Familiarity with GPS/machine control systems
* First Aid certification
