About the Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to refine your craft in a prestigious kitchen, working alongside some of the industry's best. As a Pastry Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and executing high-quality desserts, you will manage your station efficiently, ensure consistency and uphold food safety protocols.

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

* Demonstrated at least 1 year experience as a Pastry Chef in an al a carte restaurant
* Italian cuisine experience is highly regarded
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and lead a team
* Demonstrate positive attitude and genuine interest in the day to day operations
* Understanding of Food Safety and OH&S standards and compliance
* Experience in effectively maintaining and managing set ups, changeovers, closedown and handover to standard
* Use correct techniques and follow procedures and recipes when preparing and cooking menu items
* Excellent attention to detail
* Outstanding time management during preparation and service periods
* Calm and composed demeanour
* Available to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
* Qualification in Patisserie, Commercial Cookery or equivalent
