Join our Finance & Advice team as an Assistant Finance Analyst, supporting financial reporting, analysis and data‐driven insights across the business. This is a permanent full‐time role open to applicants in Brisbane or Sydney.
This role sits within Financial Control but focuses on data, reconciliations and continuous improvement. You'll help support the evolution of how we automate, visualise and improve finance processes.
What You'll Do
* Support month‐end reporting processes including preparing journals
* Develop and maintain Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reporting outputs
* Maintain balance sheet and bank reconciliations with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
* Investigate and resolve ledger and reconciliation issuesSupport improvements in reporting automation, reconciliations and data quality
* Apply financial control standards, policies and governance requirements
What You'll Bring
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline
* Up to 2 years' experience in finance, accounting or data‐focused roles
* Strong analytical mindset with confidence working with financial data
* Strong Excel skills, including advanced functions desirable
* Experience or exposure to Power BI or similar reporting tools
* Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
* Curiosity for data, reporting and continuous improvement
* Strong communication skills with ability to explain data clearly
