**Registered Nursing Role Opportunity**
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a part-time capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking for a more predictable, people-focused environment with less hospital pressure.
The ideal candidate will possess strong customer-facing skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in ensuring Australia's supply of blood products by working closely with generous donors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and interview potential donors to assess their eligibility and suitability for donation
* Provide clinical oversight and guide other team members in the blood collection process
* Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests
* Set up machines and collections equipment
* Insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets
* Manage adverse donor reactions by providing instructions and physical assistance
* Monitor donors post-donation and assist them to rebook for their next donation
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Nursing degree (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration
* Occasional lifting of 9-22.7kgs and frequent standing, walking, and bending
* Flexibility to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Saturday, including weekends and afternoon shifts
* Own vehicle and driver's license (if applicable)
