About the Assignment
As a wellbeing coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating onsite gym facilities and developing programs that promote overall health and wellbeing of employees.
Gym Facilities:
- Develop and design fitness classes for employees.
- Conduct basic health assessments and run inductions for new staff members.
- Oversee the maintenance and functionality of fitness equipment.
Wellbeing Initiatives:
- Collaborate with the health and wellbeing team to implement effective wellbeing strategies and activities.
- Provide assistance and advice in developing and arranging wellbeing promotions.
Employee Support:
- Support the onsite healthcare services by improving employee health and wellbeing outcomes.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, motivating and inspiring people to set and achieve their health goals.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Experience working in health promotion, corporate wellbeing and fitness management (group fitness).
* Experience creating programs and providing support for injury and long-term illness rehabilitation.
* Yoga or Pilates qualifications and experience.
Required Qualifications and Certifications:
* Certificate IV in Fitness - or Diploma of Sport and Recreation.
* CPR and First Aid.
