About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you’ll be at the frontline of critical care, working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where your expertise truly matters. Supported by a dedicated Clinical Nurse Educator, Transition to Practice Nurse, Nurse Unit Manager, and a team of experienced colleagues, you’ll never face a challenge alone.
Your role will include:
- Triaging patients and administering life-saving treatments
- Stabilising trauma cases and managing diverse medical emergencies
- Delivering holistic care and patient education across a wide demographic
- Coordinating inter-facility transfers and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

What we’re looking for
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Expertise in Emergency Care – Strong clinical knowledge of emergency care protocols, including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and paediatric emergencies, with the ability to remain composed and decisive in high-pressure situations.
- Collaborative and Compassionate Approach – Ability to work seamlessly with doctors, paramedics, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care, while providing vital support to patients and families during critical moments.
- Advanced Life Support and Triage Skills – ALS and triage experience are highly desirable; however, successful candidates will be fully supported in obtaining these essential skills.
