Position Profile:
The Senior Occupational Therapist plays a key leadership role within the Broome Mental Health Unit (BMHU), responsible for coordinating, planning, delivering and evaluating patient‐centred therapy programs. This role provides advanced clinical assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions for individuals and groups, ensuring high‐quality, evidence‐based care. Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and Aboriginal Liaison staff, the successful candidate will also plan and facilitate culturally appropriate client activities that support recovery and wellbeing. In addition, the position offers expert guidance on NDIS access and referral pathways, supporting comprehensive client assessments and service coordination.
