Little Stars Shepparton is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Diploma Qualified Early Educator to join the team and help children shine brightly. Little Stars Shepparton is a thriving community based childcare centre. We wish to hear from interested passionate Diploma Qualified Educators who display a strong work ethic, with a high level of written and verbal communication skills, along with the capacity to work independently and within a team environment.
Responsibilities
* The implementation of the educational program and practice whilst achieving quality learning outcomes.
* Using a wide range of teaching methods such as stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing, etc., to enhance individual children's abilities.
* Creating and maintaining excellent relationships with children, families and other team members.
* Keeping records of children's progression, routines and interests.
* Ensuring compliance with policy, procedures and practices.
Candidate Requirements
* Current Working with Children's Check.
* Current First Aid, CPR Certificates.
* Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates.
* 2 years' experience working with an early childhood setting (preferred).
* Proven experience in a similar role.
* Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care.
Demonstrated understanding of
* National Quality Framework (NQF)
* Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
* Child Protection & Safe Standards Training
* Workplace Health & Safety issues
* The ability to form warm and responsive relationships with children
* Ability to work and contribute to a team environment
