This is a rare opportunity to step into a fully functioning ANZ payroll, stepping in as the current Payroll Officer retires after long-term tenure.
You'll take full ownership of 350 staff across Australia & New Zealand, working directly with regional leadership across Singapore and Malaysia, while supporting a broader APAC transformation.

The role
You'll be responsible for delivering accurate, compliant payroll across ANZ in a standalone capacity, supported by HR and Finance.
* End-to-end payroll processing (monthly + off‐cycle)
* 350 employees across Australia & New Zealand
* Payroll cycle: 15th of the month (split advance/arrears)
* Super, payroll tax, workers comp & monthly insurances
* Payroll journals, reporting, reconciliations & audits
* Managing employee queries via Workday
* Interpreting modern awards and ensuring compliance
What you need to succeed
* Proven experience running end-to-end payroll autonomously
* Strong knowledge of ANZ payroll legislation & modern awards
* Experience with ADP Payforce (essential)
* Comfortable working across regional stakeholders (APAC)
* High attention to detail with a compliance-first mindset

* Hybrid: Monday, Tuesday + Thursday in office
* Based in Western Sydney (Kemps Creek ideal or Paramatta)
