**About The Team:**">
Our team manages over 2,500 retail locations around Australia—and we're growing every day. We work side-by-side with business units on property lifecycle aspects, from site acquisition through to asset management.

**About the role:**">
A new opportunity has opened for an Assistant Development Manager to support our Development Managers in QLD, assisting in project management and property development.

This role serves as a stepping stone towards a Development Manager position or other pathways within property, offering career growth for those committed to learning and development.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Support the Property team in delivering new stores, store extensions, re-developments, and existing property assets.
* Work with Store Development to deliver best outcomes for Coles Supermarkets and Retail Liquor Group.
* Assist in delivering development outcomes within pre-determined parameters.
* Assist in legal documentation when required.
* Attend meetings and manage administrative tasks such as contracts and bills.

**Requirements and Skills:

* Suitable backgrounds include roles such as Project Manager, Architect, Town Planner, with a desire to transition into Development.
* Recent graduates with a property degree, a willingness to learn, and motivation to succeed are encouraged to apply.

**Desirable Qualities:

* Ability to work collaboratively in a tight-knit team environment.
* Ability to communicate effectively with key customers and external parties.
* Strong organisational and planning skills.
* Ability to think strategically and laterally to solve problems and identify solutions.
* Good financial acumen and cost plan management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
