Evidence Management and Logistics Officer
We are looking for an evidence management and logistics officer to support field evidence collection in Melbourne on a 12‐month fixed term, ensuring the handling, transport and management of evidence is of a high quality, complies with relevant legislation and supports investigations.
Responsibilities
* Conduct transport and evidence related activities at the direction of the Team Leader, ensuring high‐quality handling and compliance with legislation.
* Maintain collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across all levels to support TLV objectives.
* Prepare technical reports, briefs and statements on complex issues, providing material evidence and options for decision making.
* Assist in the planning and collection of evidence, ensuring adequate resources are in place.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation around transport, handling and management of information and items.
* Contribute to the identification, management and escalation of risks.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, emerging issues and develop appropriate responses.
* Ensure health and safety compliance for self and others in accordance with OHS policies.
* Flexibility to work afternoon, evening and weekend shifts; overnight travel to regional Victoria may be required.
* Other duties as directed by TLV.
Qualifications
* High level communication and analytical skills.
* Experience managing complex policy issues.
* Demonstrated awareness of government policies and programs across a range of areas.
