The Role
Millennium is currently seeking a highly motivatedSecurity Site Supervisorto manage one of our busy sites in Bundoora.
The role requires an experienced individual with excellent knowledge of site security, building management systems and fire control systems, and the application of standard operating procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities Include
Manage and lead a team of security officers.
Oversee the site-based control room and CCTV system.
Manage client relationships on site and report up to the regional manager.
Assess and mitigate risks on site.
Respond to calls for assistance and alarm events.
Implement effective strategies for engaging with persons of interest.
Communicate effectively with all persons whilst on duty.
Use communication systems, including portable two-way radios.
Provide advice, directions and a willingness to assist all persons whilst on duty.
Promote and maintain workplace health and safety.
Input data on site/client systems, as required by site SOPs.
Recruit and train new employees.
Key Selection Criteria
Valid security licence (Unarmed, Crowd Control, and Monitoring preferred).
Basic First Aid and CPR certification required.
Security supervisory or management experience preferred.
Previous experience in a retail environment (highly regarded).
Proficiency in CCTV operations and EACS systems.
Good level of physical fitness; patrols are part of the role.
Reliable transportation preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage client relationships and stakeholders on site.
A proven track record of reliability and punctuality.
