Key Responsibilities:
* Lead recruitment efforts for high-impact roles from initial brief to successful onboarding.
* Advise and influence hiring managers as a trusted partner, helping shape best-practice approaches to position design, candidate attraction and selection.
* Drive projects to improve recruitment, onboarding and retention processes, contributing to a more agile and inclusive HR function.
* Mentor and guide a team of recruitment consultants, building capability in sourcing, assessment and stakeholder management.
* Champion equity and access, attracting and retaining a workforce that reflects the communities served, aligning with DEI goals.
About You:
* Extensive recruitment experience, including proactive sourcing and headhunting, preferably in a public sector or complex environment.
* Strong consulting skills, influencing stakeholders and guiding hiring decisions with confidence and credibility.
* A coaching mindset – you enjoy sharing expertise, giving feedback and supporting others to grow.
* Creative problem-solving skills to address hard-to-fill roles, remote service challenges and systemic barriers to talent attraction.
* Deep commitment to inclusion, applying culturally safe and accessible recruitment practices.
* Great communication and collaboration, engaging with executives or advising early-career recruiters.
* Systems-savvy, experienced in e-recruitment tools like Springboard, using data to drive decisions.
