Overview
We are a growing and agile manufacturer specializing in metal components, air movement system design, pump process systems, and conveyor systems, committed to innovation, efficiency, and sustainable growth. To strengthen our operations team, we are seeking a skilled Production Engineer to drive process improvements and ensure reliable production of custom-made final products.
Responsibilities
Monitor, analyze, and optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and reduce downtime.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across machinery, equipment, and production lines.
Implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to ensure plant reliability.
Identify and drive cost reduction initiatives, energy-saving measures, and waste minimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, supply chain, quality assurance, and manufacturing to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.
Assist in commissioning and setup of current machinery or production lines.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline (Bachelor's or higher).
Minimum 5 years of experience in production, plant, or manufacturing engineering within a workshop or industrial setting.
Strong hands-on knowledge of metal fabrication and welding processes (MIG, TIG, ARC).
Experience working with materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, and alloy steels.
Practical exposure to laser cutting, forming, and machining processes.
Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and production planning systems.
Strong problem-solving ability and experience in process optimization.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices will be highly regarded.
