Essential Qualifications- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent).- A current and valid blue card.- First Aid Certificate.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all children.
- Understanding the developmental milestones and needs of children in various age groups.
- Capability to design, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children.
- Adaptable to various situations and needs that arise in an early childhood setting.
- Respect and understanding of cultures, families and individual children's needs.
- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software to document children's learning and development.
- Previous experience as an Educator, Assistant Educator, Childcare Assistant or similar.
