Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Leader to join our team. As a key member of our pre-opening phase, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead the maintenance function from the ground up, designing and implementing effective maintenance strategies and schedules. You will manage all maintenance-related operations, including budgets, staffing, and standards.
You will also act as Project Manager for major capital works, coordinating with internal departments, councils, and regulatory bodies. Additionally, you will explore new suppliers and contractors to enhance plant and machinery, prepare cost estimates, and manage contracts with sub-contractors.
Your attention to detail will ensure high standards of housekeeping across all plant and machinery, and you will lead Work Health and Safety practices, particularly around contractor management.
