Community Support Role
Making a positive impact in the community through proactive support.
* Conduct thorough assessments of families and children to identify their needs and develop effective support plans.
* Work collaboratively with clients to establish achievable goals and provide tailored support services.
* Offer practical assistance and referrals to relevant community resources, ensuring individuals receive the help they need.
* Develop and participate in community engagement initiatives, fostering strong relationships with local stakeholders.
* Support the preparation and submission of regular progress reports, providing valuable insights into program effectiveness.
About You
* Aboriginality is an essential requirement for this role.
* A minimum Certificate IV in Community Services, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Mental Health, or equivalent qualification is necessary.
* Significant experience working with Aboriginal individuals, families, and communities is required.
* Proven skills in administration and case management are essential.
* Experience living and working in remote or regional communities is highly valued.
* Exemplary client-centered care approach and exceptional attention to detail are necessary.
* Excellent organisational skills and a National Police Certificate are also required.
