About the Role
We 9re seeking an experienced, detail-driven Bookkeeper who thrives in a compliance-focused environment and enjoys building strong professional relationships.
Youl f9k close with our collaborative team to manage a portfolio of clients, including trust accounts, payroll, and month-end management reporting.
This is a part-time role (20 hours per week, Monday to Friday) e ideal for someone seeking a consistent, flexible schedule.
As part of your role, youll also represent Balanced Advisory Co by joining and actively participating in a BNI (Business Network International) chapter, building referral relationships and representing our firm within the business community.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end bookkeeping in Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks
* Trust account reconciliations (Law Firms & Real Estate Agencies) - training will be provided
* Payroll, BAS/IAS preparation
* Month-end journals, accruals, and management reporting
* Reviewing and "rescuing" new client files to bring them up to compliance
* Liaising directly with clients and auditors to maintain accuracy and compliance
* Representing of firm within a local BNI chapter
About You
* Minimum 5+ years' bookkeeping experience
* Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting/Registered BAS Agent
* Strong understanding of trust accounting and compliance principles
* Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented
* Comfortable working independently and directly with clients
* Confident representing the business in a professional network setting (BNI)
