Permanent Position: Full time (80 hours per fortnight with Accrued Day Off). Allied Health Assistant – Grade3 (IN30). The Alfred, Emergency Department & General Medicine Hospital In The Home (HITH).
The Department
Alfred Health provides acute clinical care to patients on the acute wards and the Allied Health team includes both Allied Health Practitioners and Allied Health Assistants.
The Role
The position involves supporting acute clinical care in the emergency and general medicine departments, assisting allied health practitioners and participating in patient care activities within the Hospital In The Home service.
Experience and Qualifications Required
* Completion of Certificate IV (Allied Health Assistance) from a registered training organisation, with a minimum of 3 years of work experience.
* Recognised equivalent qualification (as determined by the line manager) with a minimum of 3 years of work experience.
* Higher qualification in a relevant allied health discipline at Diploma or Associate Diploma level with a minimum of 3 years of work experience.
