Hamilton Island is seeking a Venue Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Marina Tavern, Rainforest Bar and The Palms venues.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment and excellent communication and team-building skills.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing the daily operations of multiple outlets
* Leading and training a high-performing front-of-house team
* Driving excellence in service standards and efficient daily operations
* Managing stock, rosters, staffing levels and cost controls
* Coordinating staff recruitment and onboarding
* Maintaining compliance with RSA, RSG and venue licensing obligations
Required skills and qualifications include:
* Proven leadership experience in a bar, tavern or food and beverage outlet
* Strong financial acumen and understanding of venue P&L and cost management
* Responsible Management of Licensed Venues (RMLV)
* Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
* Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG)
