The Role
The Chef de Partie will be responsible for the preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes to exacting standards while managing their own section of the kitchen. Working closely with senior chefs, this role offers scope for input into menu development.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing, cooking, and plating a wide variety of dishes to a consistently high standard.
* Supervising the operations of your designated section.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen environment.
* Supporting and training commis chefs and kitchen assistants.
* Collaborating with senior chefs on menu development and innovation.
Skills and Experience
* 2-3 years' experience as a Chef de Partie (or similar) in a high-quality restaurant.
* Strong technical cooking skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Effective time management and organisational abilities to perform in a busy environment.
* Passion for fresh, seasonal produce and creating exceptional dining experiences.
* Food safety and hygiene certification.
