Job Summary
As a Technical Writer at Linkly, you’ll take ownership of crafting and maintaining high-quality, user-friendly product and API documentation that helps customers get the most out of our solutions.
You’ll collaborate closely with our developers, product managers, and Customer Experience teams to ensure our documentation is accurate, easy to navigate, and scales with our growing footprint. From refreshing legacy content to working on exciting initiatives, your work will directly impact developer success and satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
* Develop and maintain clear, concise documentation for our products, APIs, and SDKs.
* Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and customer experience teams to gather technical details and translate them into intuitive content.
* Continuously audit and enhance existing documentation to improve usability, structure, and technical accuracy.
* Advocate for high-quality, user-first documentation across the business.
* Help modernize our documentation stack and support efforts to restructure information architecture.
* Leverage AI-based internal tools to streamline content creation and enhance developer workflows.
* Foster a strong documentation culture and coach others on best practices for technical communication.
Minimum Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in technical writing, ideally in the tech or payments industry
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
* Proven experience writing API and SDK documentation
* Ability to simplify complex topics and write with clarity and precision
* Strong attention to detail and editing skills
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in an environment that values strong documentation culture
* Familiarity with using AI or automation tools to enhance documentation workflows
* A strong user-centric mindset with a focus on improving the developer experience
* Interest in scaling documentation practices and processes across global teams
