Champion Data has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Commercial Manager to join our team
The Commercial Manager will drive Champion Data's growth strategy by generating new revenue opportunities through securing new clients and incrementally expanding existing client relationships, while providing input into and influencing commercial and broader business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with Senior Commercial Manger and Department Managers to identify, develop, manage and maintain commercial relationships
* Manage and service agreed clients from the existing client base
* Work with Senior Commercial Manager and Department Managers to develop new product and service offerings and continue to commercialise existing products and services
* Assess the opportunities to commercialise new products and services and new clients taking account of priorities, resource availability and costs and other impacts
* Provide input into strategic plans and business plans including the research, documentation and development and the implementation of agreed components
* Analyse market trends and identify and deliver strategies to support product and services
* Complete administration requirements including sales pipeline, drafting contracts, co-ordinating customer requirements with other Departments, budgeting, invoicing, aged receivables, rate cards, sales packs and product brochures
* Work with the Broadcast and Design Department to develop proposals and assist with operational delivery – including attending internal meetings
* Project Manage various Broadcast, Digital, Scoreboard and Betting services
* Client Management including being responsive, communicative and ensuring all client requirements are met on-time and in-scope and to the client's satisfaction
* Business Development, including expansion of existing clients, products and services into new areas and securing new clients
* Strategic Development – keeping abreast of industry trends, strengths and weakness and sharing knowledge and expertise internally
About You
* 5+ years of Sales experience within the sports, digital or broadcast media industry
* Established relationships in the AU marketplace
* Experience managing large accounts and building long-term client relationships.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
* Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
* Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
* Demonstrated general understanding of technology as it relates to sport.
* Ability to operate across a multi-channel product and service offering including managed services.
* Ability to stay focused, disciplined, and motivated.
* Willingness to get your hands dirty.
* Committed, reliable and a team player who will contribute to driving a high-performance culture.
* Ability to deal with complex and often conflicted relationships.
* Multi-tasker.
* Self-starter who can operate autonomously within a hybrid working environment
