We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Core / C# Developer to join a growing engineering team in Sydney. The ideal candidate has strong backend development experience, a passion for building scalable applications, and the ability to work in a fast‐paced, collaborative environment.
This role will work closely with cross‐functional teams to design, develop, and enhance enterprise‐grade applications using modern Microsoft tech stack.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET Core / C#
* Work with Azure cloud services to build scalable and secure solutions
* Develop high‐quality, clean, and testable code following best practices
* Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions
* Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, and UI/UX teams
* Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation where relevant
* Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
* Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and guidelines
Skills & Experience Required
* 5+ years of experience in software development
* Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core
* Hands‐on experience with Azure (App Services, Functions, DevOps, SQL, Storage, etc.)
* Experience with Entity Framework Core
* Proficiency in SQL and database design (SQL Server or similar)
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
* Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
* Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks
* Strong communication and problem‐solving skills
Nice-to-Have
* Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Front-end experience in Angular, React, or Blazor
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
* Knowledge of event‐driven architectures (Service Bus, Kafka, etc.)
