Are you a highly organised and community-minded professional with a passion for delivering high-quality events and creating meaningful local experiences? We are seeking a motivated Signature Events Officer to join our Communities team in Tom Price.
In this dynamic, hands-on role, you'll help plan, coordinate, and deliver the Shire's signature events, festivals, and community celebrations. You'll work closely with internal teams, community groups, vendors, volunteers, and a wide range of local partners to create safe, inclusive, and engaging events that bring people together and strengthen community spirit.
Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, and deliver the Shire's signature events, festivals, and community celebrations.
* Coordinate event logistics and manage vendor relationships.
* Support community-led initiatives and ensure all safety, permit, and regulatory requirements are met.
* Collaborate with internal teams, community groups, vendors, volunteers, and local partners to create safe, inclusive, and engaging events.
What we're looking for
* Based in Tom Price or planning to stay locally; flexible working arrangements may be considered.
* Strong organisational skills and a commitment to delivering positive experiences in the Shire.
