Service Development Opportunity
This role presents a unique chance to support a service in the Launceston region during a period of transition. You will collaborate closely with Service Managers, Regional Manager, and Pedagogy & Practice team to ensure continuity of quality education and care while strengthening leadership capacity across the region.
* Take on a leadership position and develop your management capability.
* Support educators and teams to deliver high-quality programs under the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
* Contribute to service operations compliance and continuous improvement.
* Act as Responsible Person when required.
The Role: Assistant Service Manager
As Assistant Service Manager, you will assist the Service Manager and Regional Manager to lead day-to-day operations and pedagogy within the service. With support from our Pedagogy & Practice team, you will play an important role as Educational Leader guiding curriculum planning, supporting educators, and fostering innovative practice.
* Develop and implement high-quality educational programs informed by the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
* Mentor and support educators to achieve their best practice.
* Assist with service operations, rosters, enrolments, and compliance.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
* Acting as Responsible Person when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved).
* Strong knowledge of the NQF and EYLF.
* Experience in supporting or leading a team with a collaborative and reflective approach.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* A passion for inclusion, safety, and child-centred practice.
