Job Title: Hotel Reservations Coordinator
Description:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Hotel Reservations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for accommodation bookings, managing enquiries, coordinating details, and working closely with our sales and operations teams to ensure every booking runs smoothly.
Main Responsibilities include responding to reservation enquiries via phone and email from guests, travel agents, and corporate clients, processing reservations, amendments, and cancellations accurately and efficiently, communicating special requests and VIP arrangements to relevant departments, handling guest complaints professionally, escalating when appropriate, building knowledge of room types, rates, and packages to support upselling, and maintaining a flexible approach to shift work, including early morning starts and late-night finishes across a seven-day roster.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Prior experience in a similar role or customer-facing position
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Familiarity with hotel systems and software
* Basic computer literacy and typing skills
