THE ROLE
We are seeking a full-time Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our expanding
Brisbane office in person
and take ownership of our software development journey.
Reporting to the Product Owner, the primary focus of this role is to support our development team by:
* Designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end web applications (frontend and backend) to enhance services for customers and internal users.
* Collaborating closely with the Product Owner on project requirements while assuming full responsibility for technical delivery, architecture, and ongoing platform maintenance.
* Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using modern frameworks and tools.
* Reviewing code and providing constructive feedback to other developers.
* Monitoring system performance, reliability, and security, and implementing optimizations proactively.
* Implementing APIs, including advanced handling of endpoints, requests, authentication, and tokens.
* Troubleshooting complex technical issues and leading root cause analysis with long-term solutions.
* Improving development workflows, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing across the team.
* Mentoring and supporting other developers while promoting strong engineering practices.
ESSENTIAL
* 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
* Ability to independently design, build, test, and deploy features end-to-end.
* Strong skills in
JavaScript, TypeScript,, PHP, ,
and API development.
- Proficiency with databases, particularly MySQL.
- Familiarity with Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving, logical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills
.
- Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
NICE TO HAVE
* Experience using Figma for development, with a good understanding of UX/UI principles
.
* Familiarity with ClickUp or similar tools for task planning and scheduling.
* Exposure to other tech stacks
.
* Experience with QA testing, including writing or executing test plans and ensuring software quality.
* Relevant degree

HOURS AND LOCATION
The role involves full-time hours, Monday to Friday working from the East Brisbane office. Applicants will be required to interview in Brisbane, with training for the successful applicant also to be completed in Brisbane.
