As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization by providing comprehensive human resources services.


Key Responsibilities:

* Update Position Descriptions before new hires commence and prior to the performance appraisal cycle.
* Prepare employment contracts and manage employee inductions and onboarding processes.
* Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures to meet the evolving needs of the business.
* Assist with legal compliance across all HR functions, identifying potential areas of risk and recommending improvements.
* Lead the performance appraisal process, supporting managers and employees to achieve high performance.
* Manage employee relations, addressing both individual and collective workplace matters effectively.
* Develop and implement performance management plans for underperforming employees.
* Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and engagement activities to ensure a seamless employee experience.
* Liaise with immigration consultants as required to support international recruitment and visa processes.
* Maintain the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
* Update and coordinate the training calendar and maintain the skills matrix for staff and subcontractors.
* Organize employee engagement initiatives and support continuous improvement strategies for retention and culture.
* Participate in broader HR projects including engagement surveys, system rollouts, process enhancements, and maintaining incident & accident records.
* Manage workers' compensation claims and oversee return to work programs.
* Keep subcontractor management portals up to date with company compliance documents such as insurances and certificates.
* Develop and maintain the company Event Planning Calendar and assist with or manage company events.
* Produce regular HR reports including headcount, absenteeism, and productivity metrics.
* Update organizational structure charts and support management with administrative HR duties as required.
