This is a fixed‐term five‐year contract with the possibility of a further contract and/or extension. Suitable applicants may be considered for other similar vacancies within the next 12 months. This is a full‐time position.
The Working Environment
The Corruption and Crime Commission (CCC) is a leading anti‐corruption agency whose primary purpose is to strengthen the integrity of the public sector, reduce corruption and disrupt criminal activity for the benefit of our community. The Operational Support directorate is responsible for the delivery of high‐quality capabilities to the Commission's serious misconduct and unexplained wealth investigations, including covert surveillance and electronic collection activities.
The Opportunity
The Principal Electronic Discovery and Digital Forensics is responsible for ensuring the Commission's e‐discovery and digital forensics capabilities remain contemporary, secure, reliable and fit for purpose. The role is hands‐on, requiring expertise in both field and laboratory environments. The successful candidate will thrive in both operational and corporate roles, demonstrating effectiveness as a leader, manager and collaborator who can anticipate future challenges and deliver results in a complex, dynamic environment.
Key duties include:
* Reviewing and assessing forensic reports, identifying improvements and contributing to strategic planning and technology proposals;
* Managing service contracts, overseeing project lifecycles and coordinating the development of new capabilities;
* Engaging with government agencies, law enforcement, intelligence counterparts and industry experts to implement innovative technology solutions.
The Commission requires applicants to be Australian citizens or be immediately eligible for citizenship. Employment is conditional on possessing and maintaining a national security classification of LEVEL 1 – NEGATIVE VETTING or higher.

Qualifications
Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following:
* Knowledge and skills applicable to e‐discovery and digital forensics;
* Experience in the leadership, management and development of technical capabilities and teams, achieving results efficiently through these teams and capabilities.
