But it's not always been straightforward to hire or host at an amazing venue. In fact, prior to the company's inception in 2015, it was the exact opposite. Our business was born from frustration at the outdated, slow, inefficient, and time-consuming venue booking process that anyone looking to book a space had to endure.
Since then, we've uncovered more challenges faced by corporates, venue managers, and people looking for venue space but our purpose has always remained the same. We've spent the last few years becoming obsessed with our customers and their problems so that we can build products, tools, and features to make their lives easier. Think of it as human-kind event-tech. Our ecosystem of products make event and venue management simple, secure and transparent, whether you want to hire a space or host an event.
HeadBox Australia launched in 2020 led by Ali Lord, ex-Head of Events at Dentsu Aegis UK. In her previous role, Ali was one of the early adopters of the HeadBox technology and experienced firsthand the benefits and efficiencies it provides corporates. Ali quickly knew this was a product she had to bring back to Australia.
HeadBox is now in the process of taking Australia by storm and is looking for a new team member to join us on this exciting journey.
The Role
We would ideally like the successful candidate to be based in Melbourne however, for the right person we are open to the candidate being located in Brisbane or Sydney. Reporting to the Client Relations Manager, based in Sydney, you will be working as part of the Supply Team to support our venue partners nationally across Australia. This person will be a team player, organised, personable and willing to go the extra mile to play their part in our collective success. This role will be a key liaison between internal team members at HeadBox and our venue partners.
Responsibilities
Venue Exposure: You will be responsible for working very closely with Sales & Marketing to ensure your clients are appropriately represented across our marketing channels (blogs, mailers, social media and the website) to align with their success criteria.
Onboarding: When a new venue client signs up to Lead Feed (one of our host products) it will be your role to educate them on our technology and ensure they are equipped to get the most out of the HeadBox products.
3D Shoots: When a venue partner confirms a 3D model you will be assist the CRM with coordinating the operation of the shoot. This will involve briefing the client, collecting the pre-shoot information and booking in the photographer.
Venue Relations: Throughout a venues subscription it will be your role to continually check-in that they are happy, trained, and maximising their usage of the product.
Requirements
Organisation – this role will involve spinning multiple plates. You will be managing lots of different external and internal stakeholders at any one time so organisation is key.
Communication – it is important that you have strong communication skills as you will be interacting with senior stakeholders and you will be required to tailor your communication appropriately to the client.
Attention to detail - you'll be dealing with host listings and 3D models which are public-facing, owned by senior host stakeholders, and represent the HeadBox brand. This means that detail needs to be at the heart of your work to best represent both HeadBox and the venue.
