The role
We are seeking a motivated and passionate professional to join our Strategic Planning team to:
* assist in the delivery of innovative projects, including housing and neighbourhood character studies, heritage studies and commercial and industrial land strategies
* engage with the community through engagement processes and provide expert advice to a range of stakeholders
* liaise with colleagues and relevant agencies
* assist the preparation and processing of amendments to the Planning Scheme
To be successful in this role you will have:
* planning experience and qualifications in Planning or related discipline
* an understanding of contemporary planning theory and practice within the context of the Victorian Planning Scheme
* community engagement experience
