Job Title: Operational Excellence Specialist
The Operational Excellence Specialist plays a vital role in driving strategic initiatives forward. This position sits at the intersection of law, media rights, and commercial operations, championing operational excellence within the Legal & Business Affairs function.
This includes managing delivery of media rights entitlements and legal systems, driving innovation through technology and AI, and supporting governance, player contracting, and financial processes. The ideal candidate will be a detail-driven, solutions-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about the dynamic world of sport, media, and legal considerations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Media Rights & Commercial Operations: Manage the delivery of contractual entitlements, support media rights sales processes, negotiations, and strategic rights programs, and identify new revenue opportunities.
* Technology & Innovation: Manage and maintain our legal portal, explore AI capabilities within the portal to ensure best practice legal operations, maintain global rights databases, and coordinate automation of player contracting processes.
* Administrative & Team Support: Provide administrative support across the team, including organising meetings, drafting presentations, reports, and documentation.
* Governance & Compliance: Maintain policy and procedure registers, assist with company secretary duties, and lead archive retention, reduction, and digitisation initiatives.
* Financial Management: Prepare budget documentation, process invoices, provide advice on budget deployment, and assist with managing financial obligations between partners.
We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel, and a 'can-do' attitude.
