The purpose of Risk & Legal is to help our business partners succeed via valued risk and compliance advice, whilst safeguarding UniSuper through effective controls assurance and oversight.
This is a Melbourne‑based contract opportunity for a Risk Analyst, with scope to appoint at Senior Risk Analyst level for the right experience, where your work directly strengthens enterprise risk insight and decision‑making.
The role
The key focus of this role is supporting and improving UniSuper's governance, risk and compliance system (RADAR) and enterprise risk reporting capability — with Protecht (GRC) experience essential to succeed. This is a Melbourne‑based, 6‑month maximum term contract, where you will analyse, support and improve how risk data, reporting and insights are designed, delivered and used across the organisation, working closely with risk, legal, technology and business stakeholders.
* Deliver product‑led support for the governance, risk and compliance system, contributing to prioritisation, maintenance and ongoing improvement
* Analyse business needs and support practical system enhancements, dashboards and reporting outputs
* Support coordination of enterprise risk reporting to deliver clear, decision‑useful insights for senior leaders and governance forums
* Contribute to data uplift activities to improve the quality, consistency and reliability of risk data
* Design and prepare reports, dashboards and visualisations that simplify complex risk information
* Support risk initiatives, system changes and subject matter advice across the Risk & Legal function
About you
You enjoy working at the intersection of risk, data and technology and take pride in delivering high‑quality, practical outcomes. You're analytical, curious and collaborative, with a strong attention to detail and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
* Solid professional experience in risk, compliance, analytics or a related discipline
* Proven experience working with governance, risk and compliance systems, with Protecht experience essential
* Strong analytical capability with experience in reporting, data visualisation and system development
* Ability to translate business needs into clear insights, reports and system outcomes
* Well‑developed problem‑solving skills and a desire to learn and improve ways of working
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working across diverse stakeholders
