We are looking for 2 Forklift Operators to join our team. These positions will be paid under the Horticulture Award 2020 at level 3.
Australian citizens only are eligible to apply for this position.
This role requires flexibility to work various shift patterns and hours as needed.
Responsibilities:
* operation of Forklift in busy packing shed, adherence to all WH&S legislation.
* Valid forklift licence/certification is required at the time of application. MUST have a current QLD forklift licence.
* Minimum of 1+ years forklift operating experience is essential.
* ensuring all produce is stored correctly
* ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* attention to detail
* be able at times to step into dispatch role - basic computer skills required
* fit as there will be some heavy lifting involved.
Successful applicants will work of 38 hours per week with overtime available in our peak season and must be available to work 5 days a week, up to 7 days per week during busy periods.
They will be paid an hourly rate as stated for casual employees under the Horticulture Award 2020. Pay rates will be based on the candidates’ experience.
