Counselling Services Position
This casual role involves providing generalist counselling services to clients in a residential program at Counselling Centre.
* Services include psychosocial assessment, treatment planning, and other relevant modalities.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based interventions including motivational strategies, harm minimisation, and relapse prevention techniques.
* Identify and escalate significant risk factors or client deterioration, developing and implementing management plans accordingly.
* Establish and maintain supportive relationships with clients and their families/carers.

Qualifications and Skills
* Hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (Psychology, Social Work, Counselling) and registration with the relevant professional body.
* Demonstrate high-level knowledge of alcohol and other drug theoretical frameworks and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
* Display a strong understanding of professional, ethical, and legal requirements underpinning treatment and clinical management.
* Effectively prioritise and organise workload, delivering care with integrity and accountability.
