We have an excellent permanent opportunity for someone to come in and lead the analytics capabilities. You will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive customer-centric strategies, customer engagement, operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. The beauty of this role is that you will be working within a smaller organisation and have responsibilities across commercial, marketing and operations whilst working closely with the Finance and IT functions.
This role will suit you if you are a doer who has built or led an analytics practice. Initially this is a hands‑on role whilst balancing the various priorities with the strategic and financial long‑term plan.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for customer data and insights aligned with the strategic priorities.
* Lead initiatives to improve customer data quality, integration of data from multiple sources and accessibility across functions (supported by the IT function).
* Collaborate with senior leadership team members to integrate customer data and insights into strategy and data‑driven decision making.
* Partner with the finance business partners to provide relevant data and insights to support decision making across commercial, marketing and operations.
* Partner with strategy team members to assess opportunities and develop recommendations.
* Develop business intelligence dashboards and reports to communicate insights and support data‑driven decision making.
Skills & Experience
* Strong leadership experience in analytics functions.
* Strategic thinking skills with data‑driven support.
* Strong experience across data analytics, insights and business intelligence across large data sets.
* Ability to effectively communicate commercial insights to commercial leaders to drive business actions.
* High competence in reporting, data visualisation and communicating complex data.
* Strong understanding of commercial drivers within this environment.
* Displays commercial and financial acumen, with exceptional attention to detail to achieve the long‑term business strategy.
* Tertiary experience in Business, Statistics, Data Science or a related field.
