Senior Estimator – Civil Infrastructure | Sydney
ABI Civil is a growing civil contractor delivering infrastructure projects across NSW for Tier 1, Tier 2 and Government clients.
We are prequalified with Transport for NSW and NSW Health, with a $20M tendering capacity, and are strengthening our pre-contract capability as we continue to expand.
We are seeking a Senior Estimator with strong first principles capability and real project experience.
This Role Is for You If:
* You are highly experienced but still hands-on.
* You prefer technical estimating rather than managing a large estimating team.
* You understand how projects are actually built.
* You are commercially astute and disciplined in risk assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed first principles estimates up to $100 mill.
* Price civil works including earthworks, drainage, pavements, structures and services.
* Review contracts and identify commercial risks.
* Engage and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Contribute to tender strategy and adjudication.
What We’re Looking For:
* 10+ years civil estimating experience.
* Experience tendering to Tier 1 contractors and Government agencies.
* Strong Excel and estimating software capability.
* Practical construction knowledge.
* Ability to work to deadlines.
