Our client based in Fremantle is looking for a Project Officer to join their team. Looking for someone to work full-time hours, on an initial temporary basis.
**Your new role**
This role is responsible for providing administrative support to program/project manager/s to support successful project delivery. This position may be required to provide support across several projects or within a single project. As a Project Officer, you will be responsible for the current job description:
- Support one or more Project/Program Managers with high level administrative and clerical support, including scheduling and activity management.
- Manage all incoming calls, correspondence, team diaries, payment of minor accounts and minor budget tracking.
- Coordinate external and internal meetings including preparing agendas, taking minutes, distributing documents, and setting up.
- Track the project/program critical path and works with teams to ensure key risks, issues and interdependencies are flagged and escalated within project/program.
- Monitor and consolidate project/program deliverables, schedules and resources and project benefits and liaises with stakeholders to ensure project/program well-placed to achieve outcomes.
- Maintain key project documentation and manages document and version control for allocated projects including schedules, plans, registers, change requests, project status reports and financial tracking.
**What you'll need to succeed**
Experience in the similar position required but also:
- Able to contribute to the development of project/business administration processes.
- Sound research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to contribute to the achievement of project and team outcomes, individually and through collaboration and cooperation.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders.
