We have an opportunity for a qualified and experienced Safety Advisor to join the team. Based in Toowoomba, you will have the opportunity to apply your established skills and experience on a variety of construction projects across Toowoomba and regional Queensland. Your approach to work will align with our commitment to quality, safety and excellence – doing it once, doing it safely, and doing it well!
To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate:
* A professional, open and honest approach to communication
* Vocational or Tertiary qualifications in Safety (minimum Cert IV)
* Experience in leading safety management on construction projects, including implementation of systems and processes, on-site training and education
* Experience and knowledge of workplace health and safety, quality and environmental management regulations and practices as relative to construction sites
* Excellent computer skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong grasp of construction methodologies specifically relating to ground works, structures and formwork, with the ability to understand and interpret drawings and design documentation advantageous
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a highly developed ability to build and develop positive working relationships.
